I had wanted to make a custom sample instrument in Kontakt for quite a while and had a lull in my workload so it was time!

The instrument is a combo of plucked harmonics, kalimba, and melodica all stacked together. While I was testing the instrument I wrote what ended up being "On the Breeze" so I just kept writing and experimenting!

As I was writing I thought it was kinda funny making such wholesome and happy tunes in the midst of the current shitstorm the world is in. Hiraeth is a Welsh word that basically means "nostalgia or homesickness for a place you can't return to or perhaps never existed." Having finished it now I can recognize the catharsis I guess I needed.

Maybe it'll bring some wholesomeness and motivation to some of you as well! If you need that of course.
